Lod Bypass Planning – National Infrastructure Plan No. 79 – Promotion of a national infrastructure plan for the construction of a double track and an electrification system dedicated to cargo, which will also be used as a high-speed passenger line between Beer-Sheva and Tel Aviv, between the port of Ashdod and the railway track in the east including: construction of a bypass track to the city of Lod, a new station in the Gezer Regional Council (on the road 431) and a direct connection from the southern railway to the A1 railway parallel to road 431
